BALLARD, EDWIN J. - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 23, 2014, Mr. Edwin J. Ballard of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 70 years. He was the husband of Gertrude (Munn) Ballard whom he married in 1996. Born at Doaktown in 1944, he was a son of the late Virgil and Dorothy Violet (MacIntyre) Ballard. He is survived by his wife, his son, Tom (Wendy) of Saint John, step-son, Milford Murphy (Timna) of Missouri, step-daughter, Brenda Lawhorn (Rev. Wayne) of Bedford, Virginia, ten grandchildren, Dallas, Brittany, Pamala, Felesha, Deseré, Amber, Autumn, Charity, Chassity and Victoria, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Dorise Ballard of Stanley, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marian Ballard and a brother, Howard (Zelda) of Doaktown.
Resting at the Family Worship Center, Plaster Rock with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 27th at 11 a.m. from the Family Worship Center with Rev. Daniel McKillop and Rev. Wayne Lawhorn officiating. Interment will follow in Linton Corner Cemetery. Arrangements are by O'Regan's Funeral Home Ltd. www.oregans.ca
