Gordon Robert Samuel Stuckless passed away in his sleep at home on Saturday, November 15, 2014, in his hometown of Twillingate, Newfoundland. He was born March 17, 1930 to Frank and Belle (Smith) Stuckless. On November 12, 1951 he married Lorna Bradley of Eastport, Newfoundland. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lorna; 3 daughters Irene McGuire (Keith), Barbara Hamlyn (Jim) and Annette Parsons (William); daughter-in-law, Diane Stuckless (Parsons); 11 grandchildren: Kelly, Matt, Wes, Ben, Jeff, Joe, Joanne, Amanda, Grant, Jane and Anna; 11 great-grandchildren: Margaret, Selena, Claire, Hannah, Molly, Tim, Sarah, Amelia, Clare, Oliver and Ethan; 2 sisters: Betty Norman and Rose Stuckless; 2 brothers: Ted Stuckless and Brian Stuckless; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Paul Stuckless; 6 brothers: Harold, David, Lester, Max, Don and Andrew; and 2 sisters: Marjorie and Shirley.
