Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’ Mahoney Memorial Manor, Clarenville on Sunday November 30, 2014 Theresa Chatman of Canning’s Cove age 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Donald (Linda) of Canning’s Cove, Freeman of Thailand, Joseph Jr. of Canning’s Cove; daughters: Jessie Chatman (Wilson) of Canning’s Cove, Mable Crocker of Glovertown, Minnie Roach (Reginald) of Port Blandford, Judy Pike (Hayward) of Charleston, Ada Brown of Edmonton, AB, Betty Chatman (David) of CBS, 27 Grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, daughter in law Rosalie Chatman of Canning’s Cove, son in law Lester Tucker of Clarenville; sister Jessie Jackson of Dover, step-sisters: Stella Chatman (Norm) Canning’s Cove, Evelyn Gillman of Hare Bay plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, son David, daughter Brenda, grandson Paul, brothers: Enas and Leslie Penney, sister Jennie Chatman and step-brother Llewellyn Penney. Funeral service was officiated by Rev. Isaac Hutchings on Tuesday Dec. 2, 2014 at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Canning’s Cove with interment following at Anglican Church cemetery.
