(December 31, 1947 - November 30, 2014). Passed peacefully but suddenly away on November 30, 2014. Predeceased by his son Michael James Murphy, parents Mary and Michael Murphy and brother John Murphy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife Phyllis of 45 years; daughter Shelly (Sean); son James (Jackie); grandchildren: Samantha, Sean Jr., Tiffany Caélum and Ryan; sisters: Betty (Andy), Donna (Gary); brothers-in-law: Frank (Heather), Wayne (Sharon), Bern (Jean), Gerald (Alice), and Patrick (deceased); sisters-in-law: Betty (John), Judy (Doug), Mary(Ron)and Joan Hafey. Special friend Dave Roche as well many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Wednesday 1pm - 9pm and Thursday 10am - 2pm & 5pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass will take place from St. Patrick's Parish on Friday December 5, 2014 at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow.
