The family is saddened to announce the unexpected passing of their sister Charlotte Marie Bessette, longtime resident of Brookfield, Conn.
Born in Glace Bay on April 1, 1932, to the late John and Genevieve (Ragger) McIntosh.
In 1952 Charlotte emigrated to the U.S. where she met and married her late husband George Emile Bessette. She was employed in the banking sector before marrying and
starting a family.
Predeceased by her parents and husband George, Charlotte is survived by daughter Anita Leonard (Max), sons, George (Amanda), Philip (Holley), four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Charlotte is also survived by brothers, Reg (Bernice) McIntosh and John (Kathleen) McIntosh, both of Glace Bay, sisters, Joan Morgan (late Eldridge Morgan), Sydney and Rosemarie GIllis (Joe), Waterloo, Ont.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Danbury Memorial and Cremation, Danbury, Conn. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Marguerite Church, Brookfield, Conn.
