It is with deep sadness that the family of John Simpson announces his passing on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at the age of 65 years.
John was active in participating in slow pitch, bowling and watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with them.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Colleen; son, John Robert (Cara) and their children, Rylee, Hanna and Abigail; daughter, Michelle (Dallas) and their children, Skylar and Brooke; brother, James (Christian), David, Walter and sister, Shirley; sister-in-law, Arlene as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Veronica (née King); brother, Louie, many aunts and uncles and his faithful companion, Shorty.
Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (20 Campus Dr. Saskatoon, Sask., S7N 4H4) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, Sask., S7K 2H8).

A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Road).
