Passed away at US Memorial Hospital , St. Lawerence on Saturday December 06, 2014, John M. Hillier of Fortune age 85 years. Predeceased by wife; Katherine, parents; Ruben & Sarah Hillier, brother; Bill, & sister; Mary-Ann. Leaving to mourn; 4 sons; Edward (Hazel), Andy (Veronica), Darrell (Elaine), & Wade (Fraser), 2 daughters; Lina (Norman), & Dawn (Allan); 12 grandchildren, & 16 great – grandchildren; 1 brother; Joe (Martha), & 2 sisters; Lucy (Tom), & Dinah. Plus a large circle of other Relatives & Friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett, & Rev. Lochleigh Fiander on Monday, December 08, 2014 at 2pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune. Internment followed at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Fortune. Organist was Susie Lovell. Pall Bearers were; Andy Hillier, Darrell Hillier, Lloyd Hillier, Ray Cuza, Ryan Hillier, & Adam Hillier. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
