Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Sunday, December 14th, 2014, ELSIE LILLIAN HODDER of Creston South, NL, in her 73rd year. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Sandy (Valerie), Creston South, Neil (Sheila), Epworth, Wavell, Hamilton, ON, Maurice, Saskatoon, SK, daughters Brenda Hodder (Roger), Lumsden, Sherry Hodder (Sterling), Marystown; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; Brother Ralph Hodder (Vera), Creston South, sisters Elizabeth Lockyer, Creston, Evelyn Kirby (Neil), Collins Cove, Beulah Tucker (Simeon), Creston South, and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Elsie is predeceased by her husband Samuel, parents Walter and Leah Hodder, and brother in law Reg Lockyer.

Rev. Robert Tuck conducted the Funeral Service at Calvary United Church, Creston South, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston South.

In Elsie’s memory, donations may be made to the family.

Pall bearers were Scott Maye, Calvin Hodder, Thomas Chislett, Gary Pike, Frederick Cleal, and Scott Stapleton.
