STEWART, Lucille Marguerite, 72, Lockeport, passed away in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, Sunday, December 21, 2014. Born in West Head she was a daughter of the late Quentin and Constance (Benham) Stephens. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. When she and her husband lived in Moncton she was actively involved in church work. She ran a “free clothing” ministry every Tuesday and sang in the choir. She was an avid baker and enjoyed sewing, camping, travelling, and best of all, shopping. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alan Stewart; daughters, Laurie (Bradley) Pass; Susan (Kenneth) MacKenzie; Melanie (Glenn) Batsford; son, Andrew (Samantha); siblings, Gregory, Patricia and Deborah; grandchildren, Alycia, Benjamin, Matthew, Emily, Alannah, Nathan and Cameron; great-grandchild, Kaelyn. She was predeceased by grandson, Joshua. Funeral service was held Saturday, December 27 in Harbour Light Pentecostal Church with son-in-law Rev. Bradley Pass officiating, assisted by Rev. Rod Bezanson. Memorial donations may be made to Gideon Bibles, Parkinson`s Society or charity of choice. Interment in Lockeport Cemetery.
