Kevin Hynes of St. Anthony was born on April 13, 1964 to Hazel and Edward Hynes. During his short life, Kevin had much sickness. He loved to salmon fish and take road trips with his buddies; he enjoyed the simple things. Kevin passed away into peace on Dec. 9, 2014 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 50 years. Left to mourn his passing are his brothers and sisters Peggy (Ronald), Joan (Boyd), Terry (Delores), Donna (Greg), Eddie (Erdie), Lee, and Wayne (Bonnie); nephews Philip, Michael, Derick, Chris, Stephanie, and Robin; aunt Martha and uncle Don; Adam, Hazel, Paul, Sabrina, Samantha, Annalee, Emily, Tiara, Michaela, Riley, Charlotte, Thomas, Thea, Thorden, Charles, Anjelika, Abigail, Dominick and Avery, and a large circle of friend,s especially his buddies Glen Pilgrim and Frank Simms and "Buddy", his cat. In his short life he saw the passing of his parents Hazel and Edward, his grandparents Mary and James Patey, Charles and Janet Hynes and his niece Cheryl-Dee. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony after which the funeral service took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony on Friday, Dec. 12 with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Cremation followed the service with burial to be announced at a later date. Funeral services were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
