Anne Hilton

Anne Hilton

Anne Hilton, born Maryanne McCullough, to Martin McCullough and Alice Levesque of Westbrook, Maine. She attended Saint Mary's Jr. High (1949) and Cathedral High School(1953) in Portland, where she was an excellent student as evidenced in her near perfect report cards and excelled at spelling bees. She was named Most Radiant by classmates and tried to live up to that title decades beyond. She pursued ballet and danced with a company in NYC prior to becoming a wife and mother. Her daily routine would not be complete without crossword puzzles and usually a competitive board game with whoever was around that day. She was employed by Gannett Publishing Co. prior to moving to Antigonish in 1957, where Ed, in 1959, finished his degree. They returned to Maine for a year then moved to Prince Edward Island to raise their family. Ed died in 2003.
She will be missed by her children: Marty, Kathy (Brian), Chris, Beth, Paula, Maureen (Earl), Melissa (Rob), Tom, John (Troy), Jennifer (Tommy), Matt (Nina) and Mark (Marcie). By her grandchildren: Georgia, Keith, Cody, Kristy, Luke, Stuart, Samuel, Liza, Nicole, Robyn, Alex, Gracie and Noah. By her great-grandchildren: Irma, Malawi, Dakota and Madeline. She will also be missed by her loving cousins and many, many dear nieces, nephews and brother and sisters-in-law. She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved brother, Tom, and her son-in-law, Todd.
