Passed peacefully away on Monday December 29, 2014 in the presence of his loving family at his home in Point Lance Mr. Denis "DIN PAT" Gardiner age 92 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 54 years Mary, his 4 sons Mike Joy (Charmaine), Maurice (Betty), Philip (Ellen) and Denis (Cathie), 3 daughters Maude (Tommy White), Margie (Bob O'Keefe) and Marie (Melvin Careen), 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his only remaining brother Jim Gardiner, 2 god children Eugene Pittman and Glenda Careen Nash, his past home care worker Cathie Gardiner and present home care worker Betty Gardiner, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance on Wednesday December 31 after 3 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday January 2, 2015 at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Church, Point Lance.
