AUGUSTINE, EDWARD - (1954 - 2014) - ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Edward Augustine 60, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at his home on, Sunday, December 28, 2014. Born in Elsipogtog, he was the son of the later Peter and late Christina (Clement) Augustine. Before retiring, Edward was an artist and employed as a painting instructor at the Elsipogtog Elementary School. Edward had a degree in Architecture & Engineering, he was also a drummer in a band and he loved music. He was a survivor of the Residential School. Edward will be sadly missed by his wife Vivian (Simon) Augustine of Elsipogtog; two daughters, Shannon Augustine of Montana, Wenona Labillois for Eel River Bar; two sons, Adam Augustine (Lana) of Elsipogtog, Joey Labillois of Eel River Bar; many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by one sister, Colleen Augustine and three brothers, Frank (Josie), Raymond (Jackie), Noel (Esther) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter Dawn; three sisters, Dorine, Yvonne, Phyllis; two brothers, Peter and Joby.
Resting at his home, 525 East Main Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Monday evening until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 3:00 pm, St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
