Virginia MacDonald
The family of the late Virginia MacDonald, wish to express a sincere thank you to all of our friends, relatives and neighbours for their kind words and prayers on the death of our mother. To all who visited, called, sent sympathy and Mass cards, flowers, brought food and made donations in memory of Virginia, many thanks. To Bay and Lorraine, thanks for your nightly calls and weekly visits, over the years. Thank you to Father Bill Burke, whose sermon caught the spirit of Virginia and to the CWL for their prayers. To the choir, assembled for Virginia’s funeral, all of the music was as heartfelt as Bernie LeVert’s Panis Angelicus. To Palliative Care, especially Jill and Joe, your kindness and understanding eased the path. Thank you to the pallbearers and to Bill Curry and his staff for, as always, their caring manner, and to Father Michael Rankin for his visits and blessings. And a special thank you to the staff of MacGillivray Guest Home where the care, compassion and shared laughter shown every day reminded us that our end days are also a part of living.
