It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louise Sylvia Childs announce her passing on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Karen; son Christopher (Leanne); daughter-in-law Valerie; grandchildren: Danielle, Vanessa, Alex (Ashley), Colby, Brooke and Paige; great-grandchildren: Logan and Landon; sister Emma (Stan); brother Myles; sister-in-law Louise; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, son Karl, infant son Karl, infant daughter Lois, parents Harold and Mary Sheppard, brothers Warren and Harold, sister Marion. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nelson Chatman officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
