Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, VIOLET PEARL CROCKER - BRUSHETT of Creston South, NL, in her 92nd year. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Wesley Crocker (Rowena), Creston South, George Crocker, Halifax, Freeman Crocker (Shirley), Creston South, Jason Crocker (Winnie), Toronto, ON, daughters Glenda Mayo (Robert), Creston South, Melvina Bannadaga (Ken), Calgary, AB, Lily Day (Gerald), Garnish, Adelaide Clarke (Herb), Port au Bras, Elsie Crocker (Keith), Creston, BC, Beverly Crocker (Ralph), Calgary, AB, Barbara Brake (Norbert), Mooring Cove, step - daughters Etta Bennett, Lewins Cove and Blanche Dunford, Toronto, ON ; 29 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Violet is predeceased by her parents Adelaide and Thomas Hillier, husbands Archibald Crocker and Wallace Brushett, son Frazer, step - daughter Mildred, brother Gordon Hillier (Lillian), and sisters Rebecca Hodder (Levi) and Muriel Mayo (Thomas).

Lieutenants Devin and Laurie Reid conducted the Funeral Service at the Salvation Army Faith and Hopes Corp, Creston South, on Saturday, January 03rd, 2015; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Creston South, NL.

Donations in Violet’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Creston South, NL.

Pall bearers were Rodney Crocker, Darren Crocker, Bradley Brake, Robert Crocker, Lester Ward, and Chesley Clarke.
