ROSS, Clara Violet, 61, Clam Point, Shelburne County died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in East Baccaro on April 7, 1953, she was a daughter of Raymond O’Connell and the late Josephine (Smith) O’Connell. She was a committee member and a fund raiser for the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund. She was adherent to the Calvary United Baptist Church, Woods Harbour. She is survived by her husband, Ira; son, Dwayne (Della), Clam Point; stepsons, Craig (Buffy), Clam Point, Lewis (Cara), Clam Point; stepdaughter, Jane, Barrington; brothers, Raymond “Bub” (Leona), Baccaro, Spencer (Lisa), Baccaro, Frederick (Marilyn), Barrington; sister, Linda (Mike), North East Point; grandchildren, Cole, Lucas, Irelyn; step grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan, Megan, Keaton; several great grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Phil Williams officiating. Burial in the Atlantic Cemetery, Stoney Island.
