Passed peacefully at St. Patrick's Mercy Home January 1st, 2015 Leonie Kennedy of Trepassey, age 82. Predeceased by her husband Vince, parents Bride and Richard Curran, sister Catherine Graham. Leaving to mourn sisters; Margaret LeBlanc (New York), Terry Belcourt (Halifax), Mary O'Leary, Bea Murphy, Esther Kavanagh (St. John's), brothers Ronald Curran (St. John's) and Edward Curran (Fermeuse) as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Mercy Home Chapel at 11 am, Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 followed by a visitation. Cremation to follow with burial at a later date in Trepassey. Fahey's Funeral Home in Fermeuse have been entrusted with the arrangements. Leonie was a dedicated nurse and teacher and will be fondly remembered by her colleagues and lovingly remembered by her family. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation.
