Nov 29, 1953 - January 1, 2015. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family Elizabeth Vokey aged 61 years. Predeceased by her husband Wayne Vokey, grandson Jacob Vokey, parents Penelope and John Mercer, sister Brenda Mercer, brother James Mercer brother in law Bill Vokey, sister in law Emmie Noseworthy, father in law William Vokey, nephew Kirk Miller, niece Alicia Mercer. Leaving to mourn son Brian Vokey (Valerie), brothers Raymond Mercer (Sharon) Tom Mercer (Glenys) Ralph Mercer (Michelle) Mother in law Effie Vokey. Sisters-in-law, Joyce Miller and Wanda Vokey (Lorne). Brother-in-law Sam Vokey. Also leaving to mourn many friends, relatives, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her special friends, Rendell & Linda Drover, Sylvia Greeley, Doreen Butler for their love and support during her illness as well as Dr. Howse and Dr. McCarthy and her home care workers Pauline, Krista and Glenys. Visitation will be at Lynch's Funeral Home Spaniards Bay Saturday January 3rd, 2 -5, 7 - 9pm. Sunday January 4th, 12 - 4pm, 7 - 9pm, Monday January 5th, 10 - 12noon. Funeral service Monday January 5th, at 2pm. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church Spaniard's Bay with interment to follow at the Shore Road Anglican Cemetery.
