WRIGHT, NORMA - (February 1, 1948 – January 4, 2015) – Island View, NB - Rarely do we get to meet and enjoy such a wonderful person as Norma. It is bitter-sweet to say good bye as we know by her unwavering faith she is now with her Lord and Saviour. We will remember her as a faithful and loyal friend, an encouraging and supportive sister (including many brothers and sisters from “other mothers”), a proud and beaming aunt, a dutiful daughter and a loving and caring wife. Our hearts are broken and yet we know her suffering and pain are no more. Norma was pre-deceased by her dad Forrest Wright of Scotts Siding, NB, her mum Myrtle (Gauvin) and an infant brother Charles. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wright; eight brothers and sisters; Frances Thompson (Gordon) – Nackawic, NB, Verna Hawkes (Steven) – Fort MacMurray, AB, Dorrine Derrick (Donald) – Canterbury, NB, Forrest Wright Junior (Margaret) – Fort MacMurray, AB, Polly Kennedy (David) – Beardsley NB, Ricky Wright (Beverly) – Temperance Vale, NB, Sterling Wright (Beth) – Dow Settlement, NB and Lorenzo Wright (Dianne) – Quispamsis, NB; nineteen nieces and nephews and thirty four grand nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Ferne Wright – Fredericton, NB.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Christian service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held at Grace Memorial Church, 536 Northumberland Street, Fredericton, NB at 2:30 on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 with Rev. Rod Mac Donald officiating. There will be a time of visitation at the church preceding the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and a reception after.
