Passed peacefully, with family by his side, Friday, January 2, 2015, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Lawrence Gallant, of Stratford, age 68 years.
Beloved husband of Audrey Gallant and loving father of Cindy Murphy and Cory Gallant (Janet). Cherished grandfather of Keegan Murphy, Carter and Ella Gallant. He will also be remembered by his brothers, Paul and Gerry; sisters, Carmy Digout (Danny), Leona Gallant, Judy Kenny (Earl), Theresa Doucette (George), Bernadette Perotti; sister-in-law, Carol Gallant; and brother-in-law, Trevor Darrach.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Alyre and Alphonsine Gallant (nee DesRoche); brothers, Sylvain and Louis; sister, Linda Darrach; son-in-law, Mark Murphy; brother-in-law, Jack Perotti; sister-in-law, Peggy Gallant.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation Monday, January 5, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 6, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Hospice Palliative Care would be appreciated.
