It is with deep sadness that the family of the late John H. Osmond announce his passing on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn his daughters, Millie (Ed) King, Laura Wells, and Mona (Albert) Specker with whom he resided; also his 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Anora, infant daughter, Annie, son-in-law, J. Pearce Wells, parents and siblings. No flowers by request but donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice. The funeral will take place from the Church of the Holy Spirit, Fogo Island, on Friday, January 9th at 2:00 pm, and interment will follow at the Anglican cemetery, Shoal Bay, Fogo Island.
