CYR, AURORE - (1922-2015) - At the Foyer Assomption of Rogersville, Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, at the age of 92, passed away Aurore Cyr, wife of the late Edmond Cyr. Aurore was residing at the Foyer Assomption of Rogersville, formerly of Acadie-Siding. Born September 14th, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Lévis LeBlanc and the late Madeline Richard. Aurore is survived by three daughters: Emeraldine (Antoine Richard), Norma (late Robert Deveau) and Shirley Cyr (Reynald Léger); three sons : Elmer (late Yvette Arseneau), Donald and Junior Edmond; five sisters : Nora (late Charles Landry), Aurelie (late Lloyd Richard), Irène (Edmond Robichaud), Rosa (Hervé Bourgeois) and Gloria (late Hollis Haskins); one brother, Richard Leblanc (Chantelle Trottier); one son in law : Denis Roy; one sister in law, Shirley Colburn; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, as well as many godsons; goddaughters; nieces and nephews. Aurore was predeceased by one daughter, Joanne (Peter Logan); two sons: Robert (Norma Doiron) and Jean-Paul (Gloria Antoine); two sisters: Marguerite (Alfred Leblanc) and Corine (Donald Cameron).
The family will be receiving relatives and friends, Friday, January 9th at 2 pm, at the salon La Colombe, 11325, route 126 in Rogersville. Funeral service will be held at the St-François-de-Sales Roman Catholic church in Rogersville, Saturday, January 10th at 11 am. Visiting hours: Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9:30 pm until the departure for the funeral.
