Leo Allain

ALLAIN, LÉO -1918-2015- Léo Allain, 96, of the Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away on Tuesday January 6, 2015 at the Foyer. He was married to the late Yvonne (LeBlanc) Allain (2013). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Elie and the late Azile (Robichaud) Allain. Léo was a farmer for many years. He will be sadly missed by his five daughters; Jeannita Beaulieu (late André) of Fox Creek, Alfreda Caissie of Moncton, Lucille Robichaud (Eric) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Cécile Daigle (Normand) of Richiboucto and Gloria Daigle (Eugère) of Aldouane, his two sons; Valmond (Rose-Marie) of Moncton and Laurie of Rogersville, his eleven grandchildren; Daniel, Marc, Gaetan, Marco, Jérémie, Chantal, Parise, Sylvie, Pierre-Luc, Martin, Monica and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn a sister, Lorraine Robitaille of Foyer Saint-Antoine, two brothers-in-law, Ariste LeBlanc and Emile LeBlanc (Anna) and several nieces and nephews. Léo was predeceased by a son, Alfred in infancy, one brother, Louis (1996), and three sisters; Irene (1985), Eva (2012) and Dorilla in infancy.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église in Bouctouche, on Sunday January 11, 2015 from 7 to 9pm and on Monday from 2 to 4pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Monday January 12, 2015 at 7:00pm. In Leo’s memory a donation can be made to the Foyer Saint-Antoine or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home in Bouctouche.
