Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, Edwin Gibbons, age 92 years. Edwin is predeceased by his loving wife, Maggie Alice Gibbons (nee Gaulton)(Nov. 2003). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Ida Noseworthy, Betty Fry (Charles) and Donna Rowsell (Wayne); son, Edwin; nine grandchildren: Andy (Karen) and Paul (Janet) Noseworthy, Jennifer Wong (Monty), Alison Peltokangas (Uriah), Jillian (Kristy), Susan (Morgan) and Mark (Stephanie) Rowsell, Ashley and Ryan Gibbons; his great-grandchildren: Emily, Jack and Amy Noseworthy, Sam and Aiden Noseworthy, Jacob and Hannah Wong, Gabe Brown, and Isabella Dressler; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, January 7, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Thursday, January 8, from 10 am-12 noon. Funeral service was held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 2:00 pm, with interment following at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
