WARD, CHARLES - Charles Kenneth Ward, 88, of Cambridge Narrows, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on January 9, 2015. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Verner and Ruth (nee MacDonald) Ward. Charles is survived by his wife Alice Ward (nee Edwards); his daughter Lorie Brunke (Pat); and his son Timothy Ward (Cheryl Taylor), all of Cambridge Narrows; his granddaughter Stephanie Dykeman (Ben); and his great-grandchildren: Dylan and twins: Nicole and Aiden. Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by his grandson Stephen and his brothers: Malcolm, Ronald, Lester and Jack.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex. There will be no public visitation or funeral service as per Charles’ request. Interment will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
