Passed peacefully away at Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on January 08, 2015 William J. Hillier Grand Bank, age 97 years. Predeceased by wife; Gertrude, daughters ; Mildred (Alonzo), Annie, Bessie, Freda, Emma (Frank), daughter-in law; Betty. Leaving to mourn; 2 sons; Bert (Friend Effie) of Grand Bank, Fred (Delores) of Alberta, 6 daughters; Alberta (Bruce), Marjorie( Fred), Frances (Jack), Shirley (Joe), Cora (Wayne) all from Grand Bank & Keziah (Terrence) of Marystown. 1 brother; Clarence of St. John’s, 2 sister-in laws; Carrie, & Sarah Jane. Plus a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, & other relatives & friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Peter Wendover on Sunday January 11, 2014 at 2pm from St. Alban's Anglican Church Grand Bank.Music was provided by Mrs. Velma Stewart. Internment followed at St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery Grand Bank. Pall Bearers were; Cory Brown, Melissa Dunford, Bill Hillier, Terry Savoury, Michael O'Reilly, Glen Green, & Terry Stacey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home Grand Bank.
