Irene Ruth Ponask
February 14, 1936 – January 12, 2015
Irene Ruth Ponask, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on January 12, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 78 years. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her older brother: Wes (Betty); her younger brother: Albert (Rub); her sisters: Elizabeth (George) and Alice; her children: Kelly, Karen, Kathy (Kevin), and Shawn; her step children: George, Georgina (Allen), Madaline, and Wanda (Arnold); her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special granddaughter: Jocelyn Walsh (Don); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband: George; her sisters: Dorina, Islay, and Sara; her brother: Alan; her step-son-in-law: Sam; and her parents: Nancy and Adam. Irene will be sadly missed. A Private Family Memorial Service is to be held. Public interment will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 – 4:30 pm, St. Martin’s Cemetery, Briarlea, SK.
