BOWLAND, JAMES FLOYD – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James F. Bowland which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 12th, 2015. Born 1946, in Saint John, he was the son of the late George and Rita (Layden) Bowland. James enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, walking and travelling to Montreal. James is survived by his daughter Angela of Montreal; brothers Ronald of Calgary, Donald of California, Vernon of Hampton and Robert of Saint John; sisters Betty and Paulette of Hampton; granddaughter Khyleigh; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers Karl and Paul.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at a private family ceremony at a later date. Donations in memory of James may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
