Elsie Berdine Forrester, 82 of 498 Rotary Dr., Mira Rd, passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2015.
She was born in Whiteside, Richmond Co., the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Morash) Pottie and was a long time resident of Mira Road.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart parish and a member of the CWL for over 40 years. Elsie will be remembered for her kindness not just to her friends and family but to all her beloved four legged friends.
She is survived by her son, Bryan (Cathy), Kingston, N.S.; two grandchildren, Connor and Brayden; stepson, Wayne (Susan), Sydney; step-grandson, Dewayne (Donna), Seattle, WA; her sister, Elizabeth Tracanelli, Ont. and brother, Leonard.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Clifton in 1990; sisters, Sadie Wilson, Mary Ongo and Violet.
Visitation for Mrs. Forrester will be on Sunday, Jan.18 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 40 Cabot St. on Monday, Jan. 19 with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
