It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mrs. Geneva Brake nee Hann announce her passing at the Western Memroial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, January 17th, 2015, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Charles (Patsy), Elliott (Melva), Barry (Kaye), Morris (Bonnie), Elizabeth (Wilf), Darlene (Gerard), Patricia (Rudy), Denise (Gord), & Wendy (Glenn), her 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandsons, mother was predeceased by her husband; Algon David Brake, her daughters; Geraldine Crocker, & Elaine Strowbridge, grandson; Mervin, her sister; Violet, & brothers; Harvey, Samuel, & Robert, also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River, NL, on Monday, January 19th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015, at 2: pm, with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in trout River, NL.
