BRANNEN, Ada Madeline, 85, of Roseway Manor, Shelburne, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015. Born July 11, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Alma Bower. Ada loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing. She had a passion for nature. She is survived by her son, Ralph (Deanna Garron) Atwood; daughter, Mary (Jeff) Murphy; step-daughters, Mildred, Joan, Sharon; brother, Glendon Bower; grandchildren, Matthew, Dustin, Joshua, Christian, Megan, Alexis; and numerous step-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her first husband, Elmer Atwood; second husband, Robert Brannen; brothers, Sydney, Stewart; sisters, Florence and Myra. No visitation by request. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 21, at 2 p.m. from the St. Matthew’s United Church, Clyde River, with Pastor Brad Pass officiating. The interment will follow in the St. Matthew’s United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
