It is with deep sorrow that we, the family announce the sudden passing of our son, grandson, brother, fiancé, uncle and friend, Frank Thomas Crewe, 29, on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Marilyn (Clarke) Crewe and Frank Crewe. He worked for a number of years in western Canada as a roofer, returning home in 2014 and recently employed with Alex Russell Contracting. He loved playing pool and video games, going for walks in the woods and along the railroad tracks, enjoying nature where he found comfort, peace and spirituality. He was affectionately known by his fiancé Grace as “Captain Amazing”.
Besides his parents, Frank is survived by his fiancé Grace Loterzo, his sister Ruth Ann (Travis) Middleton, his niece Sidney Elizabeth, his paternal grandparents Ross and Betty Crewe, North Sydney, his two aunts Debbie Bonnar and Tracey Clarke, (Elton Daniels) and his uncles Ross Crewe and Tom (Angie) Clarke.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Verna and George Clarke.
Visitation for Frank will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nancy Ritchie officiating. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
