Passed away at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, on Monday, January 19, 2015, in his 76th year.
Beloved husband of Irene. Son of the late George and Geneva MacIntyre. Loved father of Cyndi Toth (Brad), Jeffrey MacIntyre (Felicia), Daniel MacIntyre (Annabella), and Carmen Trottier (Larry). Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Stephen is survived by his brother, Lawrence (Darlene), and sisters, Emma (Kenny), Linda (Joey) and Dianne (the late Roger). Predeceased by his sisters, Leona, Evelyn, Mary, Olive and Georganna. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby, ON (905-945-2755) on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.
