PRICE, DAISY EILEEN (DALE) - The passing of Daisy Eileen (Dale) Price of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late David H. Price, occurred on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 28, 1924 in England, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bownella (Denman) Dale. Daisy was a member of St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB. She loved gardening, writing poetry, making crafts, cross stitching, cooking and knitting. Daisy was also a proud member of the Fredericton War Brides. She is survived by her sons, David Price (Connie) of Saint John, NB, Roderick Price (Virginia) of Doaktown, NB, Michael Price (Marion) of Chilliwack, BC, Richard Price (Brenda) of Miramichi City, NB and Dale Price of Saint John, NB; daughters, Jennifer Howlett (David) of Fredericton, NB, Dawn Lyons (Lyman) of Fredericton, NB, Jane Russell (Terry) of Doaktown, NB, Cathy Hovey (Blair) of Fredericton, NB and Paulette Neill (Allan) of St. Albert, AB; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Violet, Agnes, Winnifred, Barbara, Maude, Janet, Kitty and Ada and her brothers, Percivael and Victor Dale; grandsons, Ty, Timothy Edward and Donald; daughter-in-law, Carolyn.
A Memorial Service will take place at St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB, followed by an interment in the church cemetery in the spring of 2015. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Cancer Research; Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick; St. James the Greater Anglican Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
