RICHARDSON, ELEANOR - Eleanor Jane Richardson of Fredericton, passed away at the York Care Centre in Fredericton on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2015. She was born in Lower Brighton on January 6, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie (Cook) Richardson. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a nephew-in-law, Kerry McLellan. Prior to moving to Fredericton, Eleanor worked for 17 years for the Aiton Drug Company in Hartland. Eleanor is survived by two brothers, David (Glenna) Richardson of Fredericton, Fraser (Ruth) Richardson of Saint John; nieces, Kelly McLellan of Rothesay, Toby Richardson of Marysville; nephews, Kevin (Kim) Richardson of Quispamsis, Troy (Michelle) Richardson of Fredericton; great nephews, Nicholas and Joseph Richardson, Nathaniel, Isaac and Ethan McLellan.
At Eleanor’s request there will be no visitation. A grave side service will announced, and held, in the spring. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at that time. Arrangements are being handled by the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland.
