CARR, MARJORIE - It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Carr announces her death at White Rapids Manor on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the age of 80. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Kenneth Carr; sons, Randy (Wendy) Carr of Geary, NB, Steven (Avis) Carr of Geary, NB, Victor (Sally) Carr of Geary, NB, Kenny (Jackie) Carr of Geary, NB, and Troy (Carmen) Carr of Tracy, NB; daughters, Dayle (Wayne) Martin of Geary, NB, Tammy (Danny) Simmonds of Calgary, AB, and Sherry (Larry) Jackson of Ontario. Marjorie will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Mom liked to play bingo and loved to go camping. She had a gracious heart. If there was someone down and out, Mom would take them in. She raised eight healthy children, she was also our best friend.
Visitation will take place at Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will take place in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 2:00 PM, with The Reverend Mark Noel officiating. A reception will be held at Troy Carr’s home (4634 Heritage Rd, Tracy, NB) following the service. Interment will take place at a later date.
