LANDRY, GILLES
1963 - 2015
Gilles Landry, 51, of Cap Pelé, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday January 24, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born on June 02, 1963 in Moncton, he was the son of Ernest and Therese (Doiron) Landry of Cap-Pelé. He worked as a fisherman and a carpenter for35 year. He enjoyed music and watching his children participating in hockey and ringuette.
He is survived by his wife, Aurèla (Léger); children: Serge (Christine LeBlanc) and Chantal (Gabriel Goguen) both of Cap-Pelé; three sisters: Joanne Landry of Shediac, Marcella Boudreau (Réjean) of Shediac, Linda Doiron (Hector) of Cap-Pelé; one brother: Rhéal (Francine Léger) of Cap-Pelé and by several nieces and nephews..
Special thanks for the excellent care given to Gilles by the Shediac Extra-Mural Hospital, and to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, January 28th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap-Pelé on January 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila cemetary in Cap-Pelé.
In memory of Gilles, a donation to the palliative care at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC or the Shediac Extra-Mural Hospital would be appreciated.
