JONES, Beryl Marie Glendale (Gamble), 70, Sandy Point, formerly of Felts Mills, New York, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Beryl was born on April 10, 1944 in Watertown, New York to the late Mary Gamble and Walter Church of Felts Mills. She was a 1961 graduate of Carthage Central High School. Beryl raised her family while moving post to post as a very proud army wife. In 1998, Beryl moved to Nova Scotia where she has lived for the past 17 years. Beryl enjoyed chatting with internet friends from all over. She had a warm and caring personality that many were drawn to. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and took loving pride in all their accomplishments. Surviving are her four children and sons-in-law, Debbie (Donnie) Roy; Michael Yarbrough, Lam Ray Yarbrough Jr.; Karen (Hollis) Price; brother, David (Suzan) Gordan and their children, April and Walter Jr. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Nathan Darou and Amanda Roy, Christina Desmond, Vicki Anderson and Katie Ryan, as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne, where visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 7-9 pm and a memorial service on Sunday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. No flowers by request.
