Margaret 'Peggy' Carmichael, formally of Ottawa, Ont., 61, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital in Moncton, on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015.
Born in Baddeck, N.S., she was the daughter of the late William Wilfred and Thelma Carmichael (Forward).
Peggy will be sadly missed by her mother, Thelma Carmichael of Sussex, N.B.; by her son David Myles; by her two daughters, Charity Myles of Sussex, N.B., Rebecca Bridges (James) of Red Deer, Alta.; by her three sisters, Joan Crocker (George) of New Glasgow, N.S., Michelle Carmichael-Clark (Brad) of Sussex, N.B., Beatrice Carmichael of Moncton, N.B.; by her three brothers, William Carmichael (Linda) of St. Albert, Ont., Joey Carmichael of Baddeck, N.S., Donald Carmichael (Jen) of Baddeck, N.S.; by her three grandchildren, Samantha, Brooklynn, Matthew.
She was predeceased by her father, William Wilfred Carmichael.
By Peggy’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2070 Mountain Rd., Moncton, N.B. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at 11a.m
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) or to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
