The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, of Joseph “Austin” McCabe of Middleton, aged 81 years. Austin was born on Christmas Day, 1933, in North Carleton to his parents, the late Eugene and Marie (nee McCarville) McCabe. Beloved brother of Eunice Savidant of Summerside; Phyllis (the late Elmer) Koughan of Charlottetown; and Mary (Louis) Trainor of Summerside. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Austin was predeceased by his sisters, Theresa and Mary, and brothers, Leo and Ivan. Resting at Kinkora Place in Kinkora. Visiting hours on Friday, Feb. 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Malachy’s Church Cemetery, Kinkora.
