The death occurred at her late residence in St. Edward surrounded by family on Thursday, February 5, 2015, of Louise Gaudet aged 80 years. Wife of the late Nelson Gaudet. She was born in Tignish on August 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Alphie and Henrietta (Arsenault) Perry. Dear mother to Julia (Brian) Martin, East Chezzetcook, N.S.; Ronald Gaudet (Virginia Osmond), West Chezzetcook, N.S.; Carole (Gaetan) Chiasson, St. Edward; Andrea Gaudet, Dartmouth, N.S.; and Gordon Gaudet, Alberton. Loving grandmother to Kathy Stevens, Jessica Gaudet, Ronnie Gaudet, Amy Gaudet, Michele Cadwell Johnston, Johnathan Cadwell, Terry Rogerson and Ashley Brumaire, and great-grandmother to Matthew, Brendan, Ileeyah, Julien, Matthew, Maddilyn and Brogan. She is also survived by sisters Jeannette Gaudet, Tignish, Yvonne (Eric) LeClair, North Rustico, and a sister-in-law Beatrice Perry, Tignish. She was predeceased by her parents Alphie and Henrietta, husband Nelson, brother Henry, and sister Dora. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 9, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Gordon Gaudet Registered Disability Savings Plan or P.E.I.
