Arlene Ruth Thomas, 47 years of age, of River Hebert, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015. Born in River Hebert she was a daughter of Joseph "Corky" & Judy (McIssac) Porter.
Arlene enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Arlene will be sadly missed by her husband, Troy,sons, Matthew Porter (Breanna Clinton) of Fredericton, Tyler Thomas at home, sister, Patty Porter of Amherst, NS, brothers, Rod Porter (Joanne) of Lower Maccan, NS, Glenn Porter (Peggy Roy) of Amherst; mother in law , Gwen Thomas , father in law Trevor Thomas of Sackville, NB, sister in law Erica Thomas of Fredericton, NB; nieces, Courtney, Kenedy, Mackenzie, Maddison; nephew, Bryson.
Cremation has taken place under the direction and care of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. Burial to take place in the Hillside Cemetery, River Hebert East, NS.
