Peacefully, Marion Edgett passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville at the age of 98.
Marion was a faithful member of the Sackville United Church, and the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a kind and generous friend to all.
Marion is survived by several cousins Patricia and her husband Paul McLaughlin, Alan Withers, Robert Crawford, Susan Fowler and their families as well as special friends, Debbie and Shirley. In addition to her parents Elias and Jennie (Scott) Edgett, she was predeceased by her brother Ralph.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300) where visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Jean Ward officiating. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin in the spring. Further time to share memories and a cup of tea will follow in the Jones Funeral Home reception room.
