Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizen’s Home, Clarke's Beach on Saturday, February 7, 2015, Nellie M. Barrett of Salmon Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: William; son: Kevin; parents: John and Fannie Adey; infant brothers: Joseph and Edward; brother: Gordon, whom she was very close to and sisters: Gertrude ‘Trudy’ and Florence. Left to mourn, brother: Harvey, St. Catherine’s, ON; sister: Maude, Toronto, ON, also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear Rev. T. Wayne Blackwood conducted the funeral service on Tuesday, February 10 from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment took place in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church Perpetual Care Fund, Salmon Cove.
