The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, February 13, 2015, of Reagh Sinclair Shaw, of O’Leary formerly of Haliburton, aged 92 years, husband of the late Glenys (Betts) Shaw. Born on July 4, 1922, in Haliburton, son of the late Edward and Annie (Sinclair) Shaw. Dear father to Laurie (Dianne) Shaw, Stoney Creek, ON; Marilyn Mugridge (Terry Jones), Oakville, ON; Marlene Bryanton, (Andy Dube) Brantford, ON; and daughter-in-law Rena Jackson, O’Leary. Loving grandfather to Tanya Shaw (Brannon Dawson), Kenny Shaw (Deanie Waite), Trevor Stewart, Angela (Marc) Arnold, Tara (Mike) Warren, Troy (Sharon) Stewart, Dean Shaw; step-grandson Colby Smith (Paula) and to six great-grandchildren. Reagh is also survived by sisters-in-law Freda Shaw, Marion Shaw, Greta Ellis, of O’Leary, and Nina Betts, Glenwood. Reagh was predeceased by his parents, wife Glenys (2013), son Edward, brothers Reg, Lorne (Winnie), Glen (Vera), Boyd (Doris), Gerald, and sister Gladys. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with the time to be announced. Interment to follow at a later date in Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery. In memory of Reagh, memorials to Springfield West Baptist Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
