Passed peacefully away at Presentation Convent, Cathedral Square, St. John's on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Ellen Hogan, her brother Patrick and her sister Jean. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are: her sisters, Mary, Kathleen (Larry) LaChance, Ellen (Raymond dec.) Britt, Marcella (Bill) Robinson, Ann (Mike) Fortune; her brothers Leo (Teresa) Hogan, William (Mildred) Hogan and Daniel (Shirley) Hogan; the Presentation Sisters; devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sister Shirley is resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 19th from 10:00 - 12:00; 2:00 - 4:00, and 7:00 - 9:00, with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Friday, February 20th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
