It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alex Pinsent announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday February 18th 2015 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Tammy (Brian) Gaudet in Fort McMurray, Valerie (Sheldon) Benoit in Stephenville, His grandchildren Blake Alexander Gaudet and Kendra Benoit, his brothers Andrew Pinsent, Stewart Pinsent, Roland (Marg) Pinsent, his sisters Norma O'Quinn, Marie (Peter) Dorethy, Lorraine (Warren) Quinton, Marg Aylward. Also leaving to mourn his special friend Eve Cooper, also missed by Eve's children Todd (Yvonnette), Carolyn (Clark), Craig and her grand daughters Caroline and Megan and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Roseann Pinsent, his brother Cecil and his sister Geraldine. As per his request cremation has taken place and there will be a funeral service on Friday February 20th at 2 p.m. from Russell's Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will take place at a later date.
