GLENN, GEORGINA KATHLEEN
Georgina Kathleen "Kay" Glenn, quietly passed away on February 23, 2015 at the Mill Cove Nursing Home with the ones she loved most by her side. Kay was born May 3, 1915 in Chipman, NB. In her amazing 99 years of life, she touched the lives of many, and her stories and sense of humour will never be forgotten.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Myra Armstrong; daughter-in-law Brenda Hare; grandchildren Gary (Jennifer) Armstrong, Barry (Susan) Armstrong, Coralee Parkhill, and Mark (Nicole) Hare; and her great-grandchildren Colin (Amelie), Chelsie (Bill), Derek (Lowel), Kristen and Michael.
Kay was predeceased by her 1st husband Roy Hare, 2nd husband Issac Glenn; son Osborne Hare; sisters, Sadie Ward, Agnes Burpee, Carrie Dibblee and Annie Stewart; brothers, James and Harry Stewart; son-in-law Walter Armstrong.
A special thanks is given the all the staff of Mill Cove Nursing Home. Words cannot express how grateful the family is for all the love and care that she received during her time there.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Chipman Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3pm, with a service following immediately at 3pm with Pastor Denis Sisco officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kay’s honour to the Mill Cove Nursing Home.
