Passed peacefully away on Monday, February 23, 2015 Annie Mildred (Flight) Moores of St. John's. Daughter of Arthur and Dorcas (Dale) Flight. Predeceased by her devoted husband John Frederick Moores and daughter Judith Dorothy Moores. Leaving to mourn her loving children Barbara and Roy (Meade), John and Elaine (Moores) and Dallas and Frederick (Butt), grandchildren Steven Meade, Jillian Meade (Curtis Wheeler), Dr. John Moores (Michelle Parsons), James Moores (Sarah), sister Miriam Vey, sisters-in-law Dorothy Moores and Martha K. Flight, brother-in-law Carl Moores (Shirley) along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. At her request, cremation has taken place. Visitation on Wednesday, February 25th from 6-9 p.m. at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's. Funeral Service to take place on Thursday February 26th at 10 am at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's. Inurnment to take place at 2 p.m. at Blackhead United Church Cemetery, Blackhead, Conception Bay. Flowers or donations in her memory to the Blackhead United Church Cemetery Fund gratefully accepted.
